  Adjustment method

  Super bass: 20Hz-40Hz, the sound is strong and powerful when appropriate. Control the sound of thunder, bass drum, organ and bass. Too much boost can make the music muddy.

  Bass: 40Hz-150Hz, is the basic part of the sound, its energy accounts for 70% of the entire audio energy, is an important component to express the music style. When appropriate, the bass is relaxed and the sound is full and soft. When it is insufficient, the sound is thin, 150Hz. When it is increased too much, the sound will be dull, the brightness will be reduced, and the nasal sound will be enhanced.

  Mid-bass: 150Hz-500Hz, which is the structural part of the sound. The human voice is located in this position. When it is insufficient, the singing sound will be drowned by the music, and the sound will be soft and weak. Excessive boosting will make the bass hard, and 3-6dB at 300Hz, if coupled with reverberation, it will seriously affect the clarity of the sound.

  Midrange: 500Hz-2KHz, contains the lower harmonics and overtones of most instruments, and is the characteristic sound of snare drums and percussion instruments. When appropriate, the sound is clear and bright, and when insufficient, the sound is hazy. It produces a phone-like sound when boosted too much.

  Middle and high pitch: 2KHz-5KHz, which is the characteristic sound of string music (the rubbing sound of the bow and string of the stringed music, the sound of the finger touching the string of the plucked music). When it is insufficient, the penetrating power of the sound decreases, and when it is too strong, it will mask the recognition of language syllables.

  Treble: 7KHz-8KHz, which is the frequency that affects the layering of the sound. Excessive promotion will make the sound of the piccolo and flute prominent, and the sibilance of the language will increase and the tone will become hairy.

  Extremely high pitch: 8KHz-10KHz, when appropriate, the metal sense of the triangle iron and the stand has a high permeability, and the rhythm of the sand clock is clearly discernible. Excessive boost will make the sound unnatural and easily burn the high frequency unit.

  A balanced and pleasant sound should be:

  Below 150Hz (bass) should be plump, soft and elastic;

  150Hz-500Hz (mid-bass) should be thick and powerful without turbidity;

  500Hz-5KHz (middle and treble) should be bright and thorough without being stiff;

  Above 5KHz (treble) should be slender, smooth and not harsh.

  When the entire frequency response is flat: the sound is natural, plump and elastic, and the layers are clear and pleasing to the ear. When the frequency response has multiple peaks and valleys: the sound is rough and turbid, the treble is harsh and hairy, and the sound reinforcement without layering is prone to feedback howling.
