Why do you often "burn the tweeter"?Audio equipment for ktv

The tweeter is the weakest link in the speaker (www.gae-pro.com). When the speaker is damaged, the tweeter is often the first to be damaged. Of course, improper use will also burn the woofer. When designing speakers, the factory generally reserves a certain margin under the premise of rated power. For example, the CS-450A speaker of our factory is a double-tweeter design, equipped with KA2050 power amplifier, and the rated output power is 150W, which is allocated to the treble part. The power is about 45W (generally, the power allocated by the tweeter in the music signal is about 30% of the rated output power). For speakers, the distribution power of each tweeter does not exceed 15W when driven by 150W, while the rated power of the tweeter is 20W, and there is a 25% margin. After visiting a large number of users, we found that the vast majority of "burning speakers" are caused by improper use, mainly in the following aspects:

  (1) The power of speakers and power amplifiers are not properly matched. Some customers choose a 2*200W (8Ω) power amplifier to match the CS-450A speaker with a rated power of 120W, and the impedance of the speaker is 6Ω. When the power amplifier outputs full power without distortion under a 6Ω load, it has reached about 250W. The actual power allocated to each tweeter is 25W, which has exceeded the rated power of the tweeter, causing damage to the tweeter. The actual output power of the power amplifier can be measured by the customer: the power amplifier is correctly connected to the speaker, the volume knob of the power amplifier is turned on, and the voltage at the output end of the power amplifier is measured with a multimeter (the needle will swing, and the maximum value must be taken), and then use the measured voltage. The square value of the value is divided by the impedance value of the speaker to get the output power of the power amplifier at this time. Interference, but when using it, the mouth must be facing the microphone, and it must be closer, generally 2 to 100px away from will be great. Ordinary entertainment guests may not have these "professional knowledge" and complain that they are tired of singing. To solve these problems, we need to teach our waiters to help and teach the guests, but the method must be appropriate, and the guests must not be accused. It is best to hang a picture on the wall indicating the correct use of the microphone.

  (2) Improper opening and closing operations. In some karaoke places, the waiters turn on the power amplifier first (and the volume knob is turned on a large amount) and then turn on the audio source (VOD or DVD) during the power-on and power-off operations. In this state, first insert the microphone cable to the power amplifier, and then insert the switched-on microphone into the connected XLR head, resulting in a very strong impulse current, and the speaker emits a strong "beep" sound in an instant, and the Due to this momentary shock, it is entirely possible to damage the speaker. The correct operation method is: turn on the audio source first and then turn on the power amplifier when powering on, turn off the power amplifier and then turn off the audio source when powering off. When the microphone is inserted into the power amplifier, make sure that the microphone has been connected to the connection, and ensure that the microphone switch is in the off state.

  (3) Connection failure. The connection fault is also the culprit of "burning the speaker". If the signal line from the audio source to the power amplifier (www.gae-pro.com) is disconnected from the ground wire (sometimes the ground wire is in poor contact, sometimes on and off), it will cause the power amplifier to produce "high" Frequency self-excited", lightly burns the speaker, and retests the power amplifier. Sometimes the microphone cable is not in good contact with the microphone (mostly the XLR head is loose), or the microphone tip is not in good contact with the power amplifier, or the microphone is disconnected from the ground wire (single-core wire is disconnected from the shielding network), which will cause a strong impact, and the speaker appears very strong. The "card... card bursting sound will also damage the speaker in an instant. Many users have made mistakes in their own microphone cables, causing the microphone "ground wire to hang in the air", which not only causes a lot of noise in the system, but also causes a lot of noise. If the speaker is damaged, if it is a double-core shielded wire, the correct method is to connect the red wire to the "2" of the XLR head, the white wire to the "3" of the XLR head, the shielded wire to the "1" of the XLR head, and the 6.35 stick. The end of the red wire is connected to the core, and the white wire and the shielded wire are connected to the shell. If it is a single-core shielded wire, the core wire is connected to the "2" of the XLR head, the shielded wire is connected to the "1" of the XLR head, and the XLR head is connected to the "1" of the XLR head. The "3" and "1" are connected together.
