　　Line array speakers are divided into passive line array speakers and active line array speakers. The most direct difference between them is that passive line array speakers need to be configured with a separate power amplifier, while active line array speakers do not need to be configured with a separate power amplifier.

　　Linear array audio also has some unique characteristics: it has a narrow beam directivity in the vertical plane of the main axis, and the superposition of energy can radiate long-distance. The lower end of the curved part of the linear column covers the near area, forming a coverage from near to far. The improvement of the linear array loudspeaker is more in line with the requirements of technology, craftsmanship and installation.

　　The first disadvantage of linear array speakers: not all linear array speakers are linear arrays under ideal conditions. Different hanging forms: such as linear, C-shaped, J-shaped, etc., have different sound radiation characteristics, resulting in sound pressure The level of attenuation rate is no longer theoretically -3dB/octave.

　　The second disadvantage of line array speakers: interference distortion is large. The vertical radiation angle of line array speakers is small. When hanging vertically, the vertical radiation angle of each line array speaker cannot be precisely controlled in production. When hanging, the mutual angle between the speakers cannot be strictly guaranteed. , So the interference distortion is relatively large.

　　The third shortcoming of line array speakers: insufficient number of speakers hanging, it is difficult to achieve uniform coverage of the sound field near, middle and far.

　　The fourth disadvantage of line array speakers: the horizontal radiation angle of a single speaker is too wide, which is not conducive to the use of multiple groups indoors.
