To know the sound production principle of sound, we first need to understand the transmission path of sound. Sound is transmitted through media, including air, liquid or solid. Sound cannot be transmitted in vacuum.
The sound propagation process is divided into three steps: the first step is that sound waves pass through the medium to the ear. The sound waves in the stereo are generated by the speakers in the stereo. What are speakers? Loudspeaker, commonly known as loudspeaker, is a device that converts electrical signals into sound signals.
It is composed of magnet, coil, paper box, etc. When the loudspeaker receives the electrical signal output by the sound source equipment, the current will pass through the coil on the loudspeaker. The current passing through the coil is alternating current, and its positive and negative poles are constantly changing, so the direction of the magnetic field generated by the coil on the electromagnet will also change.
As we all know, the magnetic force is "the same pole repels, while the different poles attract". The magnetic poles of the coil constantly change, attracting and repelling the permanent magnet on the horn for a while. This expanding and expanding vibration rhythm will produce sound waves.
Generally, the larger the audio current signal passing through the voice coil, the stronger the magnetic field will be generated. In this way, the greater the vibration amplitude of the paper cone, the stronger the sound will be generated. However, the audio current signal passing through the voice coil cannot be too large, otherwise the sound distortion from the speaker will increase, or even damage the voice coil.
